More than any other facial feature,
your eyes reveal the most about how you feel.
When they look bright, we appear happy, energized and alert, rested
and in control.
When dark circles appear, and your eyes look puffy or droopy, people
may assume that you are fatigued, unhappy or even angry
As we age, the fatty tissue under the eye gradually separates from
the bone, and sags to form bags under your eyes — it's a natural part of
aging. Some
people get them worse than others because heredity
plays a large part in their formation.
Bags under your eyes can be reduced with anti-inflammatory
remedies such as ice, cool cucumbers, and cool, wet tea bags.
Anti-inflammatory medications such as Preparation H are helpful, as they
reduce swelling.
Eyelid surgery, blepharoscopy, is also an
option, removing excess fat to minimize bags, and the drooping skin of the
upper and lower eyelids. However, bags under the eyes cannot be
completely eliminated.
Dark circles under the eyes appear as blood vessels become visible when we are
tired or stressed. JMSR's Eye Contour Cream is formulated to address under-eye
circles.
Because the skin is thinner around the eyes, there
is a tendency for wrinkles to form there. Wrinkles can be reduced by keeping the skin around the eyes healthy
and protected. Skin care products such as
C-ESTA Eye Repair Concentrate promote collagen production, and reduce
the visible signs of aging with their unique skin tightening properties.
Others, like Jan Marini's
TGF Eye Cream aid by lubricating and hydrating to resist environmental
factors.
Eyelashes tend to
thin, lighten and grow shorter as we age. Jan Marini Skin Research has a new
product that actually stimulates eyelash growth, for longer, thicker
lashes. We've had a lot of positive feedback from clients who have purchased
JMSR's Age Intervention Eyelash, and not one
client has been disappointed with the results! It works on eyebrows, too.
Lifestyle is a major factor, so eat right, drink plenty of water,
exercise and get enough sleep each day, and protect your skin —
especially around the eyes.
These tips will help prevent the formation of wrinkles, dark circles and
puffiness under the eyes. You'll look better and feel better! |
